Our Difference
Because our backgrounds are grounded in the sciences, we came at the challenge of business development a little differently.
The problems we saw were:
- Typical agencies don't have the technical knowledge to ramp up quickly when supporting technical start-ups.
- Founders are focused on Business Development, so they often give up on the activities needed to build credibility because they take too long.
- They end up doing "marketing" themselves or, more often, not at all because no one else has the knowledge or expertise

Eric is a Yale educated data scientist and scientific computing leader with over 20 years of experience in biotech.
He is an expert in the AI/ML drug discovery space
where he has been CEO, consultant, or advisor
to numerous companies.
Eric's scientific experience allows him to offer a unique perspective on utilizing cutting edge automation and AI techniques in the creation of BD Ecosystems for highly technical companies.

Jeff Sigel

Jeff took the rigor of a Harvard Chemistry & Physics education and applied it to the business world.
He has over 20 years of marketing, corporate strategy, and analytics experience. In addition, he is an author & speaker focused on leadership effectiveness.
His multi-faceted background make him an impactful business partner, allowing him to apply innovative BD and marketing thinking to technical business problems.

Bernie Banas
Head of Training & Team Development
Bernie has been developing sales teams for 4 decades now.
Over that time, he has built a loyal following of former reports who have learned from his dynamic and supportive leadership style. His training philosophy starts from a deep understanding of how people learn in the business environment.
Bernie’s experience training employees goes back to the early days of his career at the Hershey Company. In recognition of his skills in developing teams in the field, Bernie was promoted into Sales Training roles. His success led to increasing responsibility as Director and then VP over Hershey’s largest accounts.
In addition to nearly 30 years in sales and training roles at the Hershey Company, Bernie also served as VP of innovation, developing and commercializing new candy and snack products. After his time at The Hershey Company, he took on the role of President at Dewey’s Bakery/Salem Baking Company.
Bernie holds a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute and completed studies at Cornell’s Food Executive Program.
